This is Chewbacca.  He answers to a lot of names, but we mostly call him "Chewy".  He was very aptly named, as he likes to chew on most things.  His personality is all boy!  Even though he lives with 5 girls. 

He is addicted to sticks & tennis balls.  If he is outside, he is usually dragging around a stick of some sort.  And of course leaves them by the door.  Chewy also loves the water.  We keep a pool in the outside kennel and he loves to play and lay in it.  Chewy and his sister Luie will chase a tennis ball off of a dock as long as you will throw it.

Chewy has an unique marking.  He has one ear that is two colors instead of a solid color.  He is about 60% liver and 40% white.  He is of average size, but is very muscular.  He is a great pheasant hunter.  He has already hunted pheasants in MN, IA, & SD.

Chewy earned his Indian nickname out in South Dakota the fall of 2006.  He is the "Chewdog"  Chewy is a full brother to Luie and they were born on March 29th, 2005.
